Well, it’s not like the end of global warming or anything but it’s pretty good news: a new TV show by Joss Whedon featuring Eliza Dushku in the lead role is on its way. I saw every single episode of Buffy, a great show, but I always thought that  it could have been even better if Dushku had the lead – and now she has.

The series is called Dollhouse and is about people whos memories are reprogrammed to create different scenarios for the amusement of those who can afford it. “Most people assume that means sex—and on an occasion it does, because that is a lot of people’s fantasies—but it’s basically scenarios”, says Whedon to E!Online. Unlike other reprogrammed persons Dushkus character “Echoe” starts remembering things and her own personality begins to emerge.

Aires sometime next year, a lot depending on the strike. Instead of a pilot it will start off with seven guaranteed episodes. Given all the starved Buffy-fans out there it will problaby get enough viewers for at least one season (fingers crossed).
